July 12 update – My youngest daughter and I started our morning with Fox 5 DC in Purcellville. We got to see the Summer of Love VW touring bus, and talk to some great organizations – Loudoun Habitat for Humanity https://www.loudounhabitat.org/, Loudoun Empty Bowls https://www.loudounemptybowls.org/, Western Loudoun Artist Studio Tour https://www.wlast.org/, Loudoun County Parks and Recreation promoting Franklin Park https://www.loudoun.gov/1397/Franklin-Park, among others.

I discovered Loudoun County over 25 years ago when a work colleague announced he was moving to Leesburg. “That’s crazy,” I thought (our office was in Arlington), “who would want to live so far away!” Less than a year later I was buying my first place – a condo in Ashburn Village. I was sold, both literally and figuratively. Of course, at that time groceries and gas were no where to be found in Ashburn. Since then, I have witnessed the remarkable transformation of Loudoun; new neighborhoods, new roads and new businesses. It is easy to see what draws people to Loudoun County, with all the amazing opportunities for residents and the undeniably natural beauty of the area. As a Realtor, I now have an even greater opportunity to share Loudoun County with those searching for their next home. And with the wonderful suburban east- One Loudoun, Brambleton, Broadlands, and South Riding (just to name a few areas) and small town feel of western Loudoun – Purcellville, Middleburg, Hamilton - there is a perfect place for everyone.
